Queensland swimmer Blake Cochrane is making waves at the 2010 Australian Short Course Championships after setting a new world record on day one at the Brisbane Aquatic Centre.

The Australian Women’s Wheelchair Basketball team, the Gliders, have joined the Aussie men in the semi-finals at the 2010 IWBF World Wheelchair Basketball Championships after crushing China, 77-38, in the quarter finals in Birmingham, England overnight.
