The Vancouver 2010 Paralympic Games comprises 5 sports, namely Alpine Skiing, Cross Country Skiing, Biathlon, Ice Sledge Hockey and Wheelchair Curling.
Individual classification systems exist for each sport to ensure that competition is as fair as possible, with all athletes classified based on specific functional abilities.
